- New Renderer -

I just downloaded a new renderer plugin for Google SketchUp. LightUp for SketchUp
LightUp Plugin adds realistic, realtime lighting to the sketchup models. I'm still learning how to use this plugin. It's simple but yet complicated.

- Phase 2 (Consultation 1) -

Next week (17th January 2012) is the submission for Phase 2 of the exhibition booth project. What need to be submitted are graphics images, 3D rendered views and an artist impression.

As always, before submission, we need to consult first with the lecturer and get his opinions or suggestions regarding our project progressions.

- Phase 1 Submission -

For phase 1 submission, we are required to submit a exhibition profile, a concept board, and a few angle of views of the booth.
Perspective (Facade) View
This is the facade view of the booth. It is not being rendered yet. This is only the rough view and this is basically what we need to submit for Phase 1 Submission.

- Less is More, More is Less -

The last sanctioned topic: Less is More, More is Less.

So, what is meant by the term of "Less is More, More is Less."?
From what I understand, "Less is More, More is Less" is basically about simplicity. Simplicity in design as well as in other forms of 'constructions'. It is important to injects simplicity as it gives impacts on markets. What I mean here is that simplicity in a design affects the entire productions even in the slightest form.

This is all what I understand about the terms "Less is More, More is Less."
